Fees and contributions

Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore, in line with the fundamental principles referred to in its Articles of Association, such as equity and justice, has decided to adopt its own "General Regulations for Determining University Fees".
The annual determination of university fees and contributions is therefore carried out by means of a system which, taking into account various elements related to income and family, combined with a wide range of reductions and benefits, is aimed to determine the actual ability to pay.

Università Cattolica's annual fees and contributions are divided into five instalments.

The first and second instalments have a fixed amount of €1,470 and €900 respectively for most programmes. Below are more details on the fixed-fee programmes and the programmes of the Faculty of Medicine and Surgery.
The third, fourth and fifth instalments vary according to family income, the degree programme chosen and the size of the household.

The first instalment must be paid when the place is reserved, while the second by 18 December 2025.
The third, fourth and fifth instalments, of varying amounts, are due respectivel:

  • 29 January 2026
  • 31 March 2026
  • 28 May 2026

The calculation is made on the basis of actual income, with the exception of degree programmes with fixed fees and contributions*, to ensure fees and contributions are proportionate to the real ability to pay of families.

The amount varies from a minimum of €3,300 to a maximum of €11,300 for all programmes, with the exception of those of the Faculty of Medicine and Surgery*, for which the contribution range varies from €3,202 to €15,148.

The maximum contribution bracket is applied for equivalent family income above €150,000.

To obtain an estimate, for all degree programmes, except those of the Faculty of Medicine and Surgery, it is suggested that you use the Fees and Contributions Simulator.

For the programmes of the Faculty of Medicine and Surgery , please refer to the use of the REDD1/A form (ITA) and to the General Regulations, depending on the degree programme chosen.

* Here are the programmes with fixed fees and contributions: Primary Teacher Education,  Economics and Management - Service Management profile, European studies in investor relations and financial communication, Medicine and surgery (Rome campus),  Medicine and surgery - technologically-oriented, Cosmetic science and technology.

Università Cattolica supports the right to education and for this reason it promotes and offers a wide range of financial benefits.
