LEGAL ELECTRONIC RESOURCES

Students of the School of Specialization for the Legal Professions (SSPL) can use all the resources – in paper or electronic format – of the University Library and Document System. Among these, on-line databases are a particularly useful tool for research and professional updating.
It is possible to start the on-line search of the database of your interest directly from the Databases section of the University Catalogue.
The following list highlights some of them, chosen from among the most significant and frequently used for the legal field: Databases

BLACKBOARD
This is the platform chosen by Università Cattolica as the main tool for managing online teaching. Present at the University since 2000, it is a flexible tool articulated in a course management system, customizable institutional portals, virtual communities and an advanced architecture that allows connection with different administrative systems. A course created on Blackboard is not a simple download area but a real online space for interaction and collaboration for students, teachers and their collaborators. Equipped with a very simple interface and a very solid architecture, it is proposed as an online complement to the University's educational activities: a sort of connective tissue capable of supporting teaching at different levels, from undergraduate degrees to postgraduates, to teaching projects carried out with external partners in Italy or abroad.
The calendar of lessons, all the notices regarding the School and the teaching material will be available on the platform.
