QUALIFICATIONS AND ADMISSION PROCEDURES
Admission to the schools is through an annual competition based on qualifications and examination.
Those who have obtained a degree in law according to the old system and those who have obtained a specialist or master's degree in law on the basis of the regulations adopted in implementation of the regulations referred to in the decree of the Minister of University and Scientific and Technological Research of 3 November 1999 are admitted to the competition. number 509 and subsequent amendments, prior to the examination.
The call for admission to the School will be published, indicatively in August, with an inter-ministerial Decree issued by the Ministry of Education, University and Research in agreement with the Ministry of Justice.
The competition, defined at national level, will take place in October at the headquarters of Università Cattolica, L.go Gemelli 1- Milan.
ADMISSION TEST AND EVALUATION OF QUALIFICATIONS
The procedures for carrying out the admission test and the criteria for evaluating qualifications are indicated in the call for applications for access to specialisation schools for the legal professions, which will be published by Interministerial Decree between July and August.
The final ranking for admission to the School is obtained by adding, for each candidate, the score deriving from the evaluation of qualifications to the score obtained in the examinations.
The number of graduates to be admitted to the School is determined by decree of the Minister of Education, University and Research in agreement with the Minister of Justice.
APPLICATION FOR ADMISSION TO THE TEST AND APPLICATION FOR ENROLMENT
The procedures for participation in the admission test and for enrolment will be indicated on the School's website after the publication of the Interministerial Decree.
The fee for participation in the admission test is € 60.
The annual amount of fees and contributions is € 3,400 to be paid in the following ways:
- € 1.850 first instalment at the time of enrolment
- € 1,550 Second instalment by March
An agreement is in place between Università Cattolica and Banca IntesaSanpaolo for the granting of loans of honour at particularly favourable conditions for those enrolled in specialisation schools.

Merit scholarships of € 1000 are available. These scholarships are awarded to the best students in the final ranking for admission to the School. Alternatively, scholarships provided by EDUCatt are available.
