Food Science Curriculum

The programme aims to train experts in food formulation, production, quality management, and marketing. The course of study provides an integrated perspective on the food system, allowing students to explore a range of areas in depth, including the role of molecules responsible for sensory characteristics, the factors that determine food functionality, spoilage processes, and regulatory and economic aspects, from the definition of labelling information to the criteria used to determine retail pricing.

In this context, students acquire the skills necessary to contribute to the development of the foods of the future.
