How to enroll in the course

You can find information on admission here, which varies depending on your qualification (Italian or foreign).

To enroll in the program, admission is unrestricted; applications are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis according to the date of seat reservation.

  • Passport photo - format: jpg, jpeg; Maximum size: 10MB
  • ID - ID card, passport, driver's license are accepted. Format: png, jpg, jpeg, tiff, pdf; Maximum size: 10MB
  • Tax code - format: png, jpg, jpeg, tiff, pdf; Maximum size: 10MB 
  • Permit of stay - if required. Format: png, jpg, jpeg, tiff, pdf; Maximum size: 10MB
  • Baptismal certificate, or, if you do not have one, the substitute documentation, about which you will receive information later.
  • Letter of sports history for the recognition of any sports qualifications (within the deadline for registration for the test)

Log in or register on the Enrolment Portal, choose your course and fill out the application. 
Upload the required documentation, select the date of the test and pay the contribution of € 60 by the deadline. 

The test takes place online and is divided into three sections: General culture and logic, Chemistry and biology, Motor-sports culture. 
To obtain eligibility, it is necessary to score at least 31 points. Up to 5 bonus points can be obtained for sports titles correctly declared in the medical history letter. 

Each candidate may repeat the test only once. It is strongly recommended to carry out the demo before the test.

The admission test, which includes the Verification of Initial Preparation (VPI), is online and lasts 60 minutes, with multiple choices, consisting of 60 questions divided into the following thematic areas:

  • 18 questions of General culture and logical reasoning
  • 12 questions of Chemistry and biology with elements of physics and mathematics
  • 30 questions of Motor-sports culture

Instructions for the admission test

If you are eligible, you can reserve your place by paying the first instalment of university fees (€1,470) via the Enrolment Portal. 
 
Within 15 days of the reservation, send in pdf format to commissione.scmotorie@unicatt.it

  • Self-declaration (downloadable from the Enrolment Portal) 
  • Competitive sports medical certificate (Ministerial Decree 18/02/1982 – Table B) or valid certificate of fitness for the practice of sports activities of particular and high cardiovascular  effort drawn up by the sports doctor (facsimile viewable on the Enrolment Portal);  
  • Double-sided identity document

After graduating, complete your enrolment by the deadlines: 

  • If you reserved your place by 12 August 2025, the deadline is 12 September 2025
  • if you reserve your place after 12 August: within 30 days of the reserve date

 

At this stage you will be asked for your baptismal certificate.  If you do not have one, you can submit replacement documentation by choosing from these possibilities:  

If you have been baptized but cannot find the original certificate, you can complete a self-certification.  

If you have not been baptized, you can make an appointment for an interview with the campus pastoral assistant. After the interview, you will receive a valid certificate as replacement documentation. In case you have already made an appointment but are still waiting for the interview, you can temporarily submit a self-certification attesting to this situation.

After enrolment, you will receive authorisation from the Medical Commission by email.

The medical certificate must be renewed every year to attend practical activities.

Verification of Initial Preparation (VPI)

The Verification of Initial Preparation (VPI) is a compulsory test, included in the Admission Test, which serves to assess your starting level and support you in the beginning of your university career.

Candidates who correctly answer at least 8 of the 12 questions in the Chemistry and Biology thematic area of the written admission test pass the VPI. 

Those who do not obtain this score receive an OFA (Additional Educational Obligation). 

Any OFA assignment is communicated after enrolment on your personal iCatt page. 

Income Statement

Finally, don't forget to enter your income data by the end of November 2025, using the "Income Statement" application, accessible from your personal iCatt page.

Candidates with disabilities and/or SLD are entitled to compensatory tools and/or dispensatory measures.

For candidates transferring from another university, changing programs within Università Cattolica, pursuing a second degree, or resuming their studies, and who are exempt from the admission test, the successful completion of one of the two exams listed in the admission guides will automatically be recognized as fulfillment of the initial academic preparation assessment. As a result, no additional educational obligations (OFA) will be assigned.
