Course Structure

The course is divided into two curricular proposals, from which you can choose according to your aptitudes and professional interests:

  • SCHOOL-ADAPTIVE
  • Sports-managerial

The teaching of the course is organized in theoretical lessons  and practical activities with compulsory attendance, carried out mainly at the "Rino Fenaroli" sports  center.

Credits

To obtain the three-year degree, 180 university credits (CFU) are required, which are acquired to the extent of about 60 each year with evaluation tests both for the courses and for other supplementary teaching forms. Each exam is awarded a certain number of credits, the same for all students, and a grade (expressed in thirtieths) that varies according to the level of preparation. The final examination is expressed in one hundred and tenths.

Profiles

As part of the optional training activities, the Faculty has identified combinations of courses that allow the acquisition of skills related to the following competence and professional profiles: Scholastic-adaptive, Sports-managerial.

Università Cattolica offers sports and exercise  students an opportunity to complete their  professional profile. In fact, students who obtain  a degree in Sport and Physical Education at Università Cattolica  and who intend to obtain a  second degree in primary education sciences,  after passing the admission test , will be able to obtain  the recognition of 86 ECTS by enrolling directly in the third  year of the programme. This option completes the professional  opportunities of the graduate in Sport and Exercise Sciences who intends to enter  the school. After the three-year course of study, the graduate  who  wants to teach in secondary school can attend  the master's degree (two years) and then continue the course,  to obtain the qualification. Graduates who wish to teach  in kindergarten  and primary school will be able to enrol in the third  year of primary education  sciences and in any case  graduate and qualify in three years.
