To obtain the degree, 300 university credits (CFU) are required; As a rule, 60 credits are acquired each year with evaluation tests both for the courses and for the other supplementary teaching forms. Each course is assigned the same number of credits for all students; The grade (expressed in thirtieths) varies according to the level of
preparation of the student. The final mark, which includes the evaluation of the final examination, is expressed in one hundred and ten.

The 5-year course provides a solid foundation of curricular teachings recognized in EU accreditation combined with five characterizing profiles:

• Medical Clinician
• Management
• Medical Devices and Diagnostics
• Clinical Trials
• Sport and Wellness

Students will also have the opportunity to choose electives from those offered in a wide range of biomedical disciplines. In addition, (active) participation in laboratory activities is relevant as well as the possibility of working in research laboratories
state-of-the-art for the development of the degree thesis.

The Degree Course in Pharmacy offers a high-level training offer that is divided into different disciplinary sectors.
The basic courses concern the fields of physics, chemistry and biology, without neglecting the biotechnological, pharmacological, chemical and technical sectors applied to pharmaceuticals. The possibility of interaction with the medical and health professionals working at the Fondazione Policlinico Gemelli-IRCCS, including the hospital pharmacy , will be a strong added value of this training course.
The presence of the Degree Course in Economics and Management of Services, Management for Healthcare profile guarantees the possibility of acquiring knowledge and managerial skills that are essential for the pharmacist in all areas. As part of the training courses, lectures are combined with laboratory teaching, through which it is possible to apply the notions learned and verify one's preparation, as well as prepare for entry into the world of work.
In order to compare with concrete work realities, various curricular, training and orientation internship activities are also proposed.
