Qualifying degree to practice the profession of pharmacist

Untitled project - 1

The programme in a nutshell

A scientific training with a focus on care pharmacy

The programme is divided into five years, during which the fundamental teaching, ranging from physics to biology, without excluding the biotechnological, pharmacological, chemical and technical sectors, is accompanied by a strong focus on the pharmacy of care, the real innovation of the programme.

The opportunity to study new drugs and medical and diagnostic devices, which can be evaluated in clinical practice, and to interact with the medical and health professionals working at the Fondazione Policlinico A. Gemelli IRCCS represent a strong added value of this training course.

Teaching Methodology

Classroom teaching is combined with laboratory teaching, where it is possible to apply the concepts learnt and to check one's preparation, as well as to prepare for entry into the world of work, integrated with various curricular training and orientation activities.

And then? A pharmacist who is an expert in the drug and its therapeutic use

The main objective of the programme is to train a professional who will become a fundamental element in the link between patient, doctor and healthcare institutions. After graduation, students will be able to work as managers of medical and surgical facilities, scientific representatives, consultants in the choice of the right drug or in pharmacovigilance.
