Practicing the profession of nurse requires technical, relational and educational skills, the ability to solve problems related to nursing practice (evidence-based nursing), openness to constant updating of knowledge (continuing professional development) and interdisciplinary work (interprofessional education). For this reason, the three-year training in Nursing is based on knowledge of different and complementary areas: the biomedical and preventive hygiene disciplines that allow you to learn the most relevant elements underlying general physiological and pathological processes, are flanked, in this degree course, by humanistic disciplines, which help you understand yourself, your profession and the relationship with the person being cared for. The track is largely focused on learning the profession comprehensively, with particular emphasis on the process of research and best evidence of effectiveness. In fact, there are many internship experiences during which it is possible to experience, with supervision, a gradual assumption of autonomy and responsibility. Once you have obtained your degree in Nursing, you can continue your training with a graduate degree in Nursing and Midwifery Sciences.

180 university credits (CFU) are required to obtain the degree; As a rule, 60 credits are acquired each year with evaluation tests both for the courses and for the other supplementary teaching forms. Each course is assigned the same number of credits for all students; The grade (expressed in thirtieths) varies according to the student's level of preparation. The final mark, which includes the evaluation of the final examination, is expressed in one hundred and ten.
