Career opportunities

Upon completion of the Undergraduate degree programme in Economics and Business Management, graduates acquire business and managerial competences that support both the continuation of academic studies and entry into a range of professional contexts, in the public and private sectors.

Further study

The programme provides adequate preparation for access to Graduate degree programmes in economics, business economics and management, with opportunities for further study in areas such as:

  • management and corporate leadership; 
  • business economics and management control; 
  • finance, marketing and corporate strategy; 
  • sustainability and business process management.

Professional sectors and contexts

Graduates may work in:

  • Private firms, operating across various sectors of the national and international economy, within core business functions (administration and management control, marketing, finance, organisation, human resources, logistics, communication);
  • Professional firms, consultancy companies and auditing firms, carrying out activities in accounting, taxation, corporate matters and decision‑support processes;
  • Public and non‑profit organisations, with roles in administration, management and economic planning support;
  • Service‑sector organisations, including those operating in healthcare and personal services.

Regulated professions

Subject to the completion of the required internship and state examination, the programme also allows access to the following regulated professions:

  • Accounting Expert, with registration in Section B of the Italian Register of Chartered Accountants and Accounting Experts;
  • Statutory Auditor, within national and international auditing firms.
