The Undergraduate degree programme in Economics and Business Management offers a foundation in business economics and management, designed to support students in understanding how firms and organisations operate and in analysing the choices that guide their management, development and organisation of activities.

The programme in a nutshell

A common foundation and three specialisation pathways

The programme includes a common curriculum during the first two years, focused on the acquisition of fundamental knowledge in business economics, mathematics and statistics, and law.

In the third year, students may choose among three specialisation pathways, designed to reflect different academic orientations:

Each pathway allows students to explore specific areas of business management, while maintaining a coherent and integrated academic structure.

Teaching and learning approach

Teaching activities are organised according to an active and interactive approach, combining lectures, practical exercises, group work, business case analysis and contributions from managers and experts.

This approach promotes the development of analytical skills, critical thinking and operational competences, enabling students to understand, analyse and evaluate the economic environment and the operational activities of firms and organisations.

The learning path may also be enriched through internship experiences within professional and corporate settings, as well as periods of study abroad, fostering the integration of theory and practice.

Further study and career preparation

The Undergraduate degree programme in Economics and Business Management offers a preparation designed to be applicable in different contexts, both for the continuation of academic studies and for entry into the world of work.

The combination of theoretical knowledge and practical applications enables students to develop competences suitable for working in public and private organisational settings and for pursuing articulated and diversified professional pathways.

Inter‑campus mobility semester

Students enrolled in the Undergraduate degree programme may enrich their academic experience by participating in an inter‑campus mobility programme.

It is possible to spend one semester at the Milan campus, attending courses included in the study plan alongside students enrolled in the degree programmes offered at that campus.

The opportunity is available:

  • in the second year, during the second semester;
  • in the third year, during the first semester.

This experience enables students to broaden their competences, perspectives and learning contexts.
