Objectives

The graduate degree programme in Markets and Corporate Strategies (class LM-77 - Economic-Business Sciences) is designed to train professionals with advanced skills in business management and market analysis.

Students will acquire:

  • An interdisciplinary approach to business strategies, developing critical analysis skills and an integrated vision of different knowledge and methodologies;
  • Specialised skills in economics and business management, to face the challenges of business management with innovative tools;
  • Knowledge of regulatory frameworks and institutional dynamics, essential for understanding the legal and regulatory context of companies and economic organisations;
  • Ability to use quantitative tools for decision support, with a focus on statistical and econometric methods for data analysis.

The programme guarantees a stimulating educational environment, in which students face a study plan in which interdisciplinarity is designed and structured and to which the possibility of personalising the learning experience is added.

How? Through the inclusion of two elective courses, the use of the Project management course in Italian or English, and the identification of the curriculum that best suits one's interests and career goals:

Curriculum in Global Markets: It explores the dynamics of internationalisation of companies and markets, providing tools to analyze the global economy and understand the transformations of the labor market, influenced by movements of human and intellectual capital.

Curriculum in Business Strategies: It focuses on decision-making, negotiation and leadership, providing advanced skills to interpret and manage the evolution of complex systems with strategic tools and models.

Teaching methods

The training path integrates frontal lessons with interactive experiences, promoting transversal and integrated learning. Among the planned activities there are:

  • Discussion of business cases to confront real situations and develop critical analysis skills;
  • Meetings with managers, consultants and entrepreneurs for a direct confrontation with the world of work;
  • Simulations and practical activities to enhance decision-making and strategic skills;
  • Application projects to put into practice the knowledge acquired through a pragmatic approach.

Each course ends with an assessment test, which can be oral, written and/or a project, depending on the type of course.

Students have access to dedicated online platforms, where they can find additional teaching materials, insights and useful contacts for exam preparation.

The programme also offers a path of accompaniment towards the world of work consisting of intensive workshops/seminars and the Career coach project.
