Health Professions of Rehabilitation Sciences

For the academic year 2026/27, a public competition is announced for admission to the first year of the graduate degree programme in Health Professions of Rehabilitation Sciences (class LM/SNT-2) of the "A. Gemelli" Faculty of Medicine and Surgery.

There are 30 places available.

EU citizens and equivalent applicants referred to in Art. 39, paragraph 5, of Legislative Decree no. 286/1998, may participate in the selection procedure, provided that they hold one of the following qualifications:

• A qualifying Bachelor's degree enabling the holder to practice one of the Health Professions included in class L-SNT/2 (Professional Educator, Physiotherapist, Speech and Language Therapist, Orthoptist and Ophthalmic Assistant, Podiatrist, Psychiatric Rehabilitation Therapist, Neuro and Psychomotor Therapist for Development Age, Occupational Therapist);
• A University diploma enabling qualifying for the exercise of one of the health professions included in the class of L-SNT/2 (Professional Educator, Physiotherapist, Speech Therapist, Orthoptist - Ophthalmology Assistant, Podiatrist, Psychiatric Rehabilitation Technician, Developmental Neuro and Psychomotor Therapist, Occupational Therapist);
• Professional qualifications enabling the holder to practice one of the Health Professions included in class L-SNT/2, as provided for under Art. 4 of Law no. 42/1999.

Applicants who are expected to obtain the required qualifications by 31 December 2026 may also participate in the selection procedure on a conditional basis (sub condicione), in accordance with the provisions set out in Art. 12 of the call for applications.

To register for the admission test, from 6 July 2026 and until 11:59 p.m. on 17 September 2026 applicants must:

• Send the following documentation by certified e-mail concorsi.medicina@pec.ucsc.it (specifying in the subject SURNAME NAME – LM REHABILITATION SCIENCES COMPETITION 2026/2027 in the subject line):
  • The Academic and Professional curriculum form, duly completed and signed, together with a copy of the qualification required for admission and any additional qualifications for which recognition is requested for assessment purposes (Art. 6 letter B of the call for applications);
  • A colour copy of the valid identify document.
• Access the online registration system and complete the procedure described in art. 3 of the call for applications (if you are a new user, you must create a personal account);
• Pay the participation fee of €130.00 (the payment slip can be downloaded at the end of the onlione application procedure).

The participation fee is non-refundable under any circumstances.

The admission test consists of:

• a written test, to be held on 25 September 2026 at 2:30 p.m. ( home-based mode) through an online testing platform with remote proctoring;
• assessment of academic and professional qualifications. Please check which qualifications are eligible for assessment (Art. 6 of the call for applications) and submit the relevant documentation, together with all required supporting certificates, within the deadlines and according to the procedure indicated.

No points will be awarded for qualifications that have not been adequately certified.

To sit the remote written test, it is essential to have:

• A well-lit room;
• A PC (Windows 8 or later, or LINUX) or MAC (MAC-OS 10.14 or later) equipped with a functioning webcam and microphone;
• GOOGLE CHROME browser (min. version 81.0) which is the only supported browser;
• an Internet connection with a minimum upload and download speeds of 1.5 Mbps;
• A smartphone or tablet (Android 4.1 or later; iOS 8 or later) equipped with a webcam to record the room and the examination workstation.

(Please note: the tablet may be used only as an alternative the smartphone, not the PC or Mac)

Applicants are required to ensure that they meet the technical requirements set out in Art. 9 of the call fro applicants. Compliance with these requirements is the sole responsibility of each applicant.

In the days preceding the written test, applicants will receive an e-mail containing instructions for completing the technical requirements check, which must be carried out within 24 hours before the test.

Upon successful completion of the technical requirements check, applicants will receive a second e-mail containing the link to access the examination date and reporting time.

Once the participation fee has been paid, applicants may access the online simulator for the written test.

Log in to your application profile and, under List of competitions in which you are registered , click on the link: "Admission to the graduate degree programme in Health Professions of Rehabilitation Sciences a.y. 2026/2027".

On the Competition Registration Summary page, you will find the link to access the simulation platform (bottom left).
