Structure and courses of the Study Plan

The acquisition of the following skills and abilities are specific educational objectives of the graduate degree programme in Banking and Consulting :

  • a strong command (in the economic-business, mathematical-statistical and legal fields) of the theoretical and methodological knowledge necessary to understand and deal with the problems of managing banks, financial intermediaries and consulting firms;
  • the ability to measure up to the business complexity of highly articulated realities in organizational and managerial terms with an integrated perspective typical of management, compliance and change planning and management within the constraints imposed by the regulatory context;
  • the possibility of using, in the development of  the skills mentioned above, the logics and techniques of quantitative formalization and an international and intercultural view of the same;
  • the ability to acquire tools, methodologies, and knowledge preparatory to taking on positions of responsibility in large companies and institutions characterized by innovative and dynamically changing business models.

Particular attention is paid to teaching:

  • classes are made up of a limited number of students to ensure a more direct and favorable relationship with the teachers;
  • numerous seminars, workshops and conferences are planned, useful for increasing the level of in-depth study of specific topics but also for bringing students closer to the dynamics taking place in the financial sector through the living testimony of the protagonists;
  • there is ample use of case studies that help the student to develop the culture of problem solving;
  • always in order to increase the level of interaction between students and teachers, cutting-edge methodologies and teaching aids such as the Blackboard multimedia platform will be used.

The final phase of the training course is represented by a period of internship in the company and the preparation of the degree thesis.

These two training moments are essential to refine and focus the preparation but also represent the first real contact with the world of work , allowing the student to combine "knowledge" with "know-how".

  • frame the scenarios, market trends and economics underlying innovation processes;
  • understand and be able to design sustainable business models and be able to measure performance;
  • learn the tools and techniques of project and people management;
  • know how to interpret the market and the customer and formulate customer-centric strategies;
  • acquire the basic methodologies and skills to manage data analysis;
  • know and be able to deal with problems and supports of a legal, compliance and corporate governance nature;
  • equip themselves with the cultural background necessary to develop creative and flexible thinking.

  • understand the problems, opportunities, methodologies and practices useful to support the management of change processes in both large and medium-small banks and financial intermediaries;
  • guiding, organising and assessing the economic sustainability of a process of change;
  • identify and manage the typical risks of banks and financial institutions, assessing their impact on financial management, increasing organisational efficiency and brand reputation;
  • manage the development of products and services by conveying them to customers with appropriate interpersonal skills.
The curriculum's study plan
