The test takes place online, lasts 40 minutes and includes 30 questions on text comprehension, logic, Italian language and general culture. We advise you to consult the instructions and carry out the demo before the test.

The outcome obtained in the test also is also valid for the International relations and global affairs (Political science and international relations) curriculum and the Criminology (Sociology) curriculum, if you apply for these programmes as well.

If you are admitted, you can reserve your place by paying the first instalment of university fees and contributions (€1,470) through the Registration Portal. It is possible to do this even before you graduate from high school.

Places are assigned according to the ranking list. Eventual repêchages are posted in the dedicated section of the programme page.

After graduating, complete your enrolment by the deadlines:

  • - If you have reserved your place by August 12, 2025: by September 12, 2025
  • If you have reserved after August 12: within 30 days from the date of reservation

At this stage you will be asked for your baptismal certificate.  If you do not have one, you can submit replacement documentation by choosing from these possibilities:

If you've been baptized but can't find your original certificate, you can fill out a self-certification.

If you have not been baptized, you can make an appointment for an interview with the pastoral assistant on campus. After the interview, you will receive a valid certificate as replacement documentation. In case you have already made an appointment but are still waiting for the interview, you can temporarily submit a self-certification attesting to this situation.

Verification of Initial Preparation (VPI)

The Verification of Initial Preparation (VPI) is a compulsory test, included in the Admission Test, which is designed to assess your initial level of preparation and help you better approach your university studies.

Candidates who obtain at least 16/30 in the Admission Test pass the VPI.

Those who score less than 16/30 receive an OFA (Additional Educational Obligation) in Italian Language Knowledge and Text Comprehension. The OFA provides for:

  • A mandatory course with required attendance,
  • A final assessment.

The programme and test must be completed and passed within the first year of studies. Assignment of OFA, if any, is communicated after enrolment on the personal iCatt page.

Income Statement

Finally, don't forget to enter your income data by the end of November 2025, using the "Income Statement" application, accessible from your personal iCatt page.

OTHER INFORMATION

Candidates with disabilities and/or SLD are entitled to compensatory tools and/or dispensatory measures.

You can find more information about our university's Inclusion Services here.

To register for the admission test to the programme, you must declare in the Enrolment Portal the average obtained in the penultimate year of secondary school.
If you are about to obtain or have obtained an Italian diploma and have attended the entire penultimate year of secondary school abroad, in order to register for the admission test you must declare in the Enrolment Portal the average converted according to the Italian grade system and upload the report card issued to you by the Italian school.
If you are unable to retrieve the converted report card, but you have the average in tenths relating to the year spent abroad, you can upload an official document issued by the school certifying this information.
If, on the other hand, you only have a document indicating the school credits assigned, you must upload it and take into account that the average obtained is defined according to the following table:

If you do not have one of the documents indicated above, declare the average obtained in the third to last year and upload, in a single file, the relative report card and the transcript of the penultimate year carried out abroad.

PLEASE NOTE:

If you have only spent the 1st semester abroad , declare the average obtained in the second semester, expressed in tenths and upload the report card of the penultimate year showing the average obtained in the final examination in tenths.

If you have only completed the 2nd semester abroad , declare the converted average according to the Italian grade system and upload the report card with the marks of the final scrutiny issued by the Italian school.

If you are unable to find the report card with the converted final exam grades or a document showing the average or credits obtained at the end of the penultimate year, declare the average obtained at the end of the 1st semester spent in Italy and upload, in a single file, the transcript of the semester spent abroad and the report card of the first semester attended in Italy.

ATTENTION: under no circumstances will translations of foreign transcripts or self-certifications of conversion of grades be accepted.

If you are a graduate candidate or enrolled in schools with a foreign qualification , follow the procedures provided by the International Admissions Office
