Virtual Talks – Orienting oneself through the voices of those who live at the University

New for the academic year 2025-26

Starting from a. A. 2025/2026 The course will be divided into two distinct profiles : 

  • Educator in early childhood educational services;
  • Professional socio-pedagogical educator.

One reserved for those who wish to pursue a career as a professional socio-pedagogical educator to enter the field of early childhood services (acquisition of 55 credits for those who intend to work in services 0-3 years); the other to those who intend to train as a professional socio-pedagogical educator to work in personal services, with adolescents, adults or the elderly even in situations of hardship or disability, and in the field of training. Depending on their aptitudes and interests, students have the opportunity to orient their study path towards one of the two areas.

The course in brief

Knowing how to put the person at the center

A strong motivation and a vocation for educational commitment are fundamental conditions for those who want to acquire tools and techniques to be used in the field of training. The study plan, which can be customized according to one's aptitudes and interests, allows the student to specialize in one of three distinct professional areas: personal services, childhood education, adult training.

Teaching methodology

The course combines lectures with various laboratory activities, to which is added the experience of the training internship in both the second and third years: a key element of the proposed itinerary that allows you to combine theoretical knowledge and practical skills in a professional context.

And then? A professional at the service of the person

Depending on the approach given to the course of study, graduates may take on the role of:

educators in socio-educational services managed by the public sector or social cooperatives
animators or pedagogical consultants in the field of childcare services (nurseries, playrooms, care centers)
trainer, classroom and online tutor, training designer in companies

Presentation

The course allows students to acquire theoretical and practical knowledge and skills related to the education and training of the person, in line with the provisions of paragraphs 594-601 of Law 205/17 and Legislative Decree 65 of 13 April 2017. During the degree course, it is possible to choose between two profiles – Educator in early childhood educational services or Professional socio-pedagogical educator – so exams, workshops and internship experiences are aimed at perfecting training depending on the field in which you want to operate as a professional, from childcare services to adult training. It is a path suitable for those who want to get involved, acquiring wide-ranging knowledge and putting passion and motivation into play: elements that allow, once graduated, to also pursue careers as professionals, consultants and self-employed workers.
