he Medicine and Surgery programme at Università Cattolica, in collaboration with Claudiana, benefits from the extensive healthcare network of Sabes (Südtiroler Sanitätsbetrieb – Azienda Sanitaria dell'Alto Adige). This collaboration with Eurac Research demonstrates the region's commitment to advancing medical knowledge through long-term population research.

The CHRIS study, which involves SABES as a key partner, represents a unique opportunity for students to observe how large-scale epidemiological research integrates with clinical practice. Since 2011, this study has followed over 13,000 participants, focusing on cardiovascular, neurological, metabolic, and oncological health factors.
