The International Business Management track is designed to develop managerial competencies for operating in international contexts and requires a good command of English at least at the B2 level.
Students enrolled in this profile can take part in a highly distinctive international experience through the Double Degree programme in International Business Management, the key feature of the International Business Management curriculum.
This four-year project combines two academic experiences:
- The first two years are completed at the Piacenza campus;
- The final two years take place at one of the partner universities abroad in France, Germany, Spain, the United States, or Mexico.
The main objectives of the Double Degree are to foster international mobility, enhance teamwork and cross-cultural collaboration, strengthen foreign language proficiency, and promote multiculturalism and inclusion.
Students who prefer not to participate in the Double Degree may follow the regular three-year programme entirely at the Piacenza campus.
Semester abroad
The semester programmes abroad are open to all students of Università Cattolica and allow them to spend a semester of their academic career abroad, at a partner university. Examinations taken abroad can be recognised within the UC study plan. Students are selected on the basis of academic merit and language skills.
Summer programs and language courses
With the Summer Programs it is possible to spend a period of 2 to 8 weeks abroad during the summer, at one of our top-ranking partner universities globally, and to select exams to take for which it will be possible to request the recognition of the credits upon return.
With the program of language courses abroad it is possible to start throughout the academic year and improve one or more foreign languages.
Internships and theses abroad
An internship experience abroad during your university career is certainly an important advantage for entering the world of work. UC offers its students and recent graduates different types of courses based on the Faculty to which they belong.
For the writing of the thesis, a period of study abroad allows you to carry out international research with scholarships available to support the period abroad.
Voluntary work
The possibility of carrying out an international volunteering experience in different fields and countries.
Virtual Programs
To ensure the possibility of carrying out international programmes safely, depending on the international context of the countries of destination, someprogrammes that can be attended remotely are organised if it is impossible to leave.
