Programme Structure

The preparation acquired with this degree programme is articulated in theoretical knowledge and practical and professionalizing skills that will allow graduates to manage communication processes in their different forms - from face-to-face interpersonal communication to complex systems of mediated communication - and in different areas, such as goods and service companies, creative, media and cultural industries, and public and third sector institutions.
In fact, training takes place on three different levels:

  • courses, which allow students to acquire the theoretical and methodological contents and foundations of disciplines related to communication and its processes;
  • workshops, through which experience is gained in the field as regards the analysis and production of communication strategies, the conception and design of communication campaigns (advertising, political, public...), the basic production of media products of different formats and with different purposes;
  • the scheduled interventions of professionals, experts and professors/lecturers (both Italian and foreign), who offer the student direct contact with the world of communication, foreshadowing a future, positive job placement.

Since the academic year 2020/2021 COMeS has been enriched with a new curriculum entirely delivered in English: Communication management. Fashion, food and material cultures COMMA
