The test takes place online, lasts 40 minutes and includes 30 questions on knowledge of the Italian language, general culture and reading comprehension.

We recommend that you review the instructions and run the demo before the trial.

These materials will help you prepare in the best possible way: content, previous tests with and without solutions.

If you are eligible, you can reserve your place by paying the first instalment of university fees (€1,500) via the Enrolment Portal. It is possible to do it even before graduating.

Places are allocated according to the ranking list. In the event of a waiting list, any repechage will be published in the dedicated section on the course page.

The result of the test is also valid for admission to the Political Sciences and International Relations programme (Milan campus), if you apply for that programme as well.

After graduating, complete your enrolment by the deadlines.

At this stage you will be asked for your baptismal certificate.  If you do not have one, you can submit replacement documentation by choosing from these possibilities:

If you've been baptized but can't find your original certificate, you can fill out a self-certification.

If you have not been baptized, you can make an appointment for an interview with the pastoral assistant on campus. After the interview, you will receive a valid certificate as replacement documentation. In case you have already made an appointment but are still waiting for the interview, you can temporarily submit a self-certification attesting to this situation.

Verification of Initial Preparation (VPI)

The Verification of Initial Preparation (VPI) is a compulsory test for all students enrolled in the first year of an undergraduate programme or an integrated degree programme.
For the [programme name] programme, the VPI is included in the admission test.
The VPI serves to assess your initial level of preparation and offer you useful suggestions for approaching your university studies with greater awareness.
The VPI is passed with a score of at least 16/30 in the admission test.
If your score is lower, you will be assigned an Additional Educational Obligation (OFA) to make up for the knowledge gaps identified.
Any assignment of OFA will be communicated with the publication of the admission test results and also after enrolment on your personal iCatt page.

Compile income

Finally, don't forget to enter your income data by the end of November, using the "Compile income" application, accessible from your personal iCatt page.

MORE INFORMATION

Candidates with disabilities and/or SLD are entitled to compensatory tools and/or dispensatory measures.

You can find more information about our university's Inclusion Services here.

To register for the admission test for this course, you must declare in the Enrolment Portal the average obtained in the penultimate year of secondary school.

If you are about to obtain or have obtained an Italian diploma and have attended the entire penultimate year of secondary school abroad, in order to register for the admission test you must declare in the Enrolment Portal the average converted according to the Italian grading system and upload the report card issued by the Italian school.

If you are unable to retrieve the converted report card, but you have the average in tenths relating to the year spent abroad, you can upload an official document issued by the school certifying this information.

If, on the other hand, you only have a document indicating the school credits assigned, you must upload it and take into account that the average obtained is defined according to the following table:

If you do not have one of the documents indicated above, declare the average obtained in the third to last year and upload, in a single file, the relative report card and the transcript of the penultimate year carried out abroad.

PLEASE NOTE:

If you have only spent the 1st semester abroad , declare the average obtained in the second semester, expressed in tenths and upload the report card of the penultimate year showing the average obtained in the final examination in tenths.

If you have only completed the 2nd semester abroad , declare the converted average according to the Italian grading system and upload the report card with the marks of the final scrutiny issued by the Italian school.

If you are unable to retrieve the report card with the converted final exam grades or a document showing the average or credits obtained at the end of the penultimate year, declare the average obtained at the end of the 1st semester spent in Italy and upload, in a single file, the transcript of the semester spent abroad and the report card of the first semester attended in Italy.

PLEASE NOTE: under no circumstances will translations of foreign transcripts or self-certifications of conversion of grades be accepted.

If you are a graduate candidate or enrolled in schools with a foreign qualification , follow the procedures provided by the International Admissions Office
