What is the internship
The curricular internship with university credits (CFU) is a didactic-professional training experience carried out within a company context with defined and agreed training objectives. The internship therefore represents a key to access the world of work with which the student can experience the notions learned in the field.

Internship-specific details
The Faculty of Medicine and Surgery, within the degree course, provides for the compulsory nature of a curricular internship with credits.
The following are assigned for this activity:
- For the curricular internship to be carried out during the first year of the course, 18 credits (450 hours) are assigned at the outpatient clinics of the Otorhinolaryngology Department of the Agostino Gemelli Polyclinic in Rome.
- For the curricular internship to be carried out during the second year at companies affiliated with the University, to be verified with the Internship & Placement Service of the RM campus, 20 ECTS (500 hours) are assigned.
- For the internship to be carried out during the third year at companies affiliated with the University, to be verified with the Internship & Placement Service of the RM campus, 22 credits (550 hours) are assigned.
