The Graduate Programme in Organisation Management in Global Systems (GEOR) of the Faculty of Political and Social Sciences aims to provide the cognitive tools and disciplinary skills necessary to manage the processes that characterise the life of organisations and companies, which, even when they belong to local and national systems, are today of necessity integrated into a global context. Given the growing importance of internationalisation processes, an understanding of global scenarios is in fact an indispensable prerequisite for guiding the action of private and private social entities (cooperatives, associations, foundations, non-profit organizations) as well as public institutions.

Increasingly, in recent years, the University has given new impetus and vigour to training and research initiatives at the Brescia campus, with a view to accentuating the needs expressed by the local community of reference. The GEOR programme of study is part of this strategy, as it is proposed as a training tool suitable for systematically and strategically promoting the University's collaboration with the many companies in the Brescia area.

Companies and organisations that represent qualified models of dynamic and responsible entrepreneurship.

The GEOR Graduate programme responds to the need to train professionals capable of moving in the fields of management, human resources management and communication of companies, organisations, private and public bodies. The development and enhancement of human capital is of strategic importance within organisations, and communication plays an essential role both in this area and in that of relations between organisations and society as a whole. Through a strongly interdisciplinary approach, the Graduate degree programme therefore offers the opportunity to acquire professional, communicative and managerial skills that are strategic for entering the labour market.

Through this programme, on the one hand, students will acquire the skills required to understand the phenomena of communication in contemporary reality and to develop effective marketing  strategies, consistent with the objectives of public, private and private-social organisations. On the other hand, students will learn the skills that allow them to operate in companies with tasks related to organisational development and the management and enhancement of human resources, the definition and management of corporate welfare policies, in the perspective of roles oriented to general management and with specific reference to the strategic design and management of innovation.
