Education

The graduate degree programme is built around a common core of economic, mathematical-statistical, legal-business teachings. Starting from this base, it is possible for the student to deepen specific topics such as: Labor Economics, Industrial Economics, International Economics, Monetary and Financial Economics, Public Economics, Educational Economics, Health Economics, Resource and Development Economics, Economic Policy, Impact Assessment of Economic Policies, Economic History. The programme also aims to place particular emphasis on training that favours the research method and leads to a high level of mastery of quantitative tools within a multidisciplinary context.
The training course includes a profile taught entirely in English (Economics). The training course is structured in such a way as to develop solid bases of competence in the economic and quantitative areas, in particular through training activities related to the economic and mathematical-statistical fields. The legal area integrates and strengthens preparation, through the study of the problems of the functioning of markets, institutions and companies.

Teaching and workshops

The course of study includes workshops and internships, organized in collaboration with representatives from companies or institutions in which theoretical knowledge is translated into application contexts. The proposed educational path makes extensive use of interactive teaching methods, combining traditional lectures with the use of the following active teaching tools: advanced exercises, seminars, supplementary courses, discussion of cases, analysis of current issues and problems, meetings with entrepreneurs, managers, representatives of public and private institutions, both national and international. Finally, it provides for the constant use of online platforms where students can find supplementary teaching material and all further references and contacts for in-depth study of the content of the courses/seminars and for the preparation of exams.

Credits

The duration of the graduate degree programme is two years after the three-year course of study. Each exam is awarded a certain number of credits, the same for all students and a grade (expressed in thirtieths) that varies according to the level of preparation. To obtain the Master's degree, at least 120 university credits (CFU) must be acquired.
The courses conclude with an evaluation test which must in any case be expressed by a mark out of thirty. This may also apply to other supplementary forms of teaching for which eligibility may also be provided.
