Training

The graduate degree programme is built around a common core of economic, mathematical, statistical, legal, and business courses. Starting from this basis, it is possible for the student to deepen knowledge of specific topics such as: Labour Economics, Industrial Economics, International Economics, Monetary and Financial Economics, Public Economics, Education Economics, Health Economics, Resource and Development Economics, Economic Policy, Impact Assessment of Economic Policies, Economic History. The programme also intends to place particular emphasis on training that prioritises the research method and leads to a high level of mastery of quantitative tools within a multidisciplinary context.
The training path includes a profile taught entirely in English (Economics). The path is structured in such a way as to develop a solid foundation of competence in the economic and quantitative areas, in particular through training activities related to the economic and mathematical-statistical fields. The legal area complements and strengthens preparation through the study of problems relating to the functioning of markets, institutions and businesses.

Teaching and workshops

The degree programme includes workshops and internships, organised in collaboration with representatives from the field of companies or institutions in which theoretical knowledge is translated into applied contexts. The proposed training path makes extensive use of interactive teaching methods, combining traditional lectures with the use of the following active teaching tools: advanced exercises, seminars, supplementary courses, discussion of case studies, analysis of current issues and problems, meetings with entrepreneurs, managers, and representatives of public and private institutions, both national and international. Finally, it provides for the constant use of online platforms where students can find supplementary teaching material and all further references and contacts for in-depth study of the content of the courses/seminars and for the preparation of exams.  public and private institutions, both national and international.

Credits

The duration of the graduate degree is two years after the three-year undergraduate degree programme. Each exam is awarded a given number of credits, the same for all students and a grade (expressed out of 30) that varies according to the student's level of preparation. To obtain the graduate degree, at least 120 credits (ECTS) must be acquired.
The courses end with an evaluation test, which must in any case be expressed by means of a mark out of 30. This may also apply to other supplementary forms of teaching providing for a pass mark.
