What is Internship

The internship is a compulsory teaching activity, closely linked to the courses and laboratories taken. It aims at the acquisition and development of peculiar disciplinary and methodological skills in the areas of communication, education, and their integration, through the direct and reflective participation of the student in the various professional work contexts.

Coordination: Dr. Chiara Bellotti - chiara.bellotti@unicatt.it

Internship Tutor I year: Dr. Sara Lo Jacono - sara.lojacono@unicatt.it

Internship Tutor II year:  Mr. Angelo Bertolone - angelo.bertolone@unicatt.it

Office hours: Tutors receive upon appointment by email (the venue of the meeting will be indicated by email).

Duration in hours/months: The internship is to be considered as a unitary and progressive path that develops in the first and second year of the programme for a total number of 150 hours, of which 100 hours as a direct internship to be carried out in a local institution and 50 hours as an indirect one at the University through group meetings.

The internship is compulsory.

Number of ECTS assigned to the internship: 6 ECTS assigned to the II YEAR

How to assign ECTS + indications for the final report: the internship requires compulsory attendance and can be deemed "passed" if the student:

  • attended the scheduled hours;
  • obtained a positive evaluation from the University's internship tutor;

The internship can be activated via the ST&P portal.
