The graduate degree programme in Digital Learning and Media Education trains the following professionals:

Education expert in digital educational communication

They operate in socio-educational and social-welfare services and facilities, designing, developing, coordinating and evaluating projects and interventions for educational prevention and health promotion that also make use, when necessary, of the resources offered by digital technologies and online environments- Their socio-educational intervention develops digital skills in the recipients useful for social inclusion, the exercise of citizenship, the conscious use of the media and the prevention of risks related to the online experience. They also develop and manage support and accompaniment paths for adults in digital education.

Graduates have socio-psycho-pedagogical skills; research skills; skills in planning, consulting, coordinating and evaluating educational and training projects; skills in media analysis and production; methodological skills.

Career opportunities: in public and private socio-educational and social-welfare services and facilities, in schools, institutions and local realities aimed at the development of digital skills and the promotion of Media Literacy; in consultancy activities in the fields of parenting, family, environment, justice, sport and health.

E-learning Training Designer

They work in training agencies and companies; analyse training needs in collaboration with human resources, plan and coordinate the design, development, implementation, delivery and evaluation of training courses within the framework of broader e-learning systems (both fully online and in blended, dual mode or web-enhanced mode); they support subject matter experts and trainers in the design and implementation of content and assessment tools. They also identify, design and organise digital learning environments; interface with the technical staff for the graphic-visual and IT development of materials, courses and environments.

The graduatees have skills in the design of multimedia objects and environments; online tutoring and moderation skills; evaluation skills of e-learning training.

Career opportunities: in the university and higher education field, in the field of professional training and training of trainers, both in the public sector and in private companies, in Teaching and Learning Centers, as Instructional Designer.

Education manager

They work as head of the educational sectors and educational projects for the enhancement and use of cultural and artistic heritage by developing integrated online and offline systems. They collaborate in the design, creation and promotion of educational or edutainment media products. They also collaborate in the design of awareness-raising, social engagement and gamification interventions and in the institutional communication, both internal and external, of complex organisations.

The graduates have communication skills; teamwork skills; multimedia environment design skills; skills in the design of cultural itineraries; evaluation skills.

Career opportunities: in companies in the cultural sector (publishing, audiovisual and television production, software houses); in institutions in the museum and exhibition sector; in libraries; in private companies; in third sector bodies and NGOs, creative companies and industries, territorial promotion bodies.

Educational Consultant for the Digital School

They operate in school contexts developing educational innovation projects, integrating online and offline learning tools and environments; offering support for inclusive educational design; devising gamification processes; collaborating on digital teacher training; supporting Digital Animators and collaborating in the creation of the digital citizenship curriculum.

The graduates have teaching, design and evaluation skills; adult education skills; media education skills.

Career opportunities: in schools of all levels as a consultant and trainer.

Graduates who have a sufficient number of credits in appropriate groups of sectors will be able, as provided for by current legislation, to participate in the admission tests for training courses for secondary education.
