The admission test consists of a written test ( in home-based mode) and an oral test-interview (in dual-mode):

  • Written test (remote) on 15 September 2025 at 14:00. The general list of calls will be published from 10 September 2025;
  • Oral exam (interview) on 19 September 2025 in hourly shift to be defined. The general list of calls will be published from 17 September 2025.

The written test (maximum 60 points) consists of 60 multiple-choice questions distributed as follows:

  • 10 logical and logical-mathematical reasoning questions;
  • 45 questions on scientific competences in the following topics: Physiology (3), Biochemistry (4), Molecular biology (8), Applied biology (9), Pharmacology (3), Human anatomy (3), Histology (3), General pathology (3), Microbiology (3), General chemistry (3), Organic chemistry (3);
  • 5 ethical-religious culture questions.

The oral exam-interview (maximum 60 points) is aimed at ascertaining the possession of the knowledge, skills and abilities useful for the training of a biotechnologist specialized in personalized medicine through the evaluation of the type of previous course of study, with specific reference to the programs of the courses followed and the type of the final exam.

In order to take the written test (remotely) it is essential to be in possession of:

  • A PC (Windows 8 or later or LINUX) or MAC (MAC 10.14 or later) with a webcam and microphone. The use of a company computer is strongly discouraged;
  • GOOGLE CHROME browser (min. version 81.0) to be used as the only browser provided;
  • Internet connectivity with a minimum upload and download speed of 1.5 Mbps;

       · A smartphone or tablet (Android min 4.1 – IOs min v.8) equipped with a webcam. The use of wifi is also recommended, during the procedure you will be asked to download an APP on your smartphone/tablet (34MB) from Google Play or AppStore (depending on whether you are using a smartphone with Android or IoS operating system).

The tablet can ONLY be used as a replacement for the Smartphone, not the PC/Mac.

Candidates will receive by e-mail instructions on how to carry out the check requirement to be carried out within 24 hours before the test.

If a candidate carries out the checks with a workstation equipped with lower requirements than those indicated above, the eventual passing of the preliminary verification phase does not guarantee that he/she will be able to take the competition test in the absence of the required technical equipment and the candidate will be considered responsible for any problem that may occur.

Once the test participation fee has been paid, you can access the Simulator platform free of charge via your registration profile (at the bottom of the Competition Registration Summary page). The simulator can be used indefinitely by each registered candidate: it contains an archive of about 110 questions made available for purely practice purposes. Questions administered on the day of the test are not extracted from the simulator.
