Opportunities for Specialising Master Programmes

Financial benefits

For the academic years 2024-25 and 2025-26, Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore adheres to the "PA 110 e lode" project, an initiative of the Ministry for Public Administration designed to enhance the continuing education of public employees.

The aim of the project is to allow employees of the Public Administration to obtain a first- or second-level specialising master programme at favourable rates, thus expanding their skills and enhancing their career. This project therefore offers a unique opportunity to update professional skills in a high-level academic context, with the support of qualified professors/lecturers, offering training courses designed to meet the specific needs of the public sector.

Reduced participation fees apply.

In addition, students who are employees of the Public Administration are granted by the Department of Public Administration a contribution equal to 50% of the enrolment cost incurred, within the limits of a maximum threshold of:

  • €1,000 for undergraduate, graduate and integrated degree programmes
  • €2,500 for first- and second-level specialising master programmes

First-level Specialising Master Programmes:

Graduates of Università Cattolica enrolled in the premium services of the UCSC Alumni community are entitled to a reduction on the tuition fees of the Masters to be applied to the second instalment. Visit the pages of the individual masters to find out the subsidized amount



Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore and Intesa Sanpaolo S.p.A. have entered into a special agreement for the management of the "PER MERITO" loan for the benefit of students enrolled in three-year degrees, graduate programmes, integrated degree programmes, annual and two-year university masters, research doctorates, courses abroad (double degree or joint degree) and Erasmus.

StudioSì is a fund of the NOP Research and Innovation 2014-2020, co-financed by the European Social Fund (ESF) and managed by the European Investment Bank (EIB), which supports participation in tertiary education courses (master's and single-cycle degrees, masters and specialization schools) consistent with the National Smart Specialization Strategy, divided into thematic areas.
The 12 Areas defined by the National Smart Specialisation Strategy (SNSI):
Aerospace – Agrifood – Blue Growth – Green Chemistry – Design, creativity and made in Italy – Energy – Smart factory – Sustainable mobility – Health – Smart, safe and inclusive communities – Technologies for living environments – Technologies for cultural heritage.

Who it is for: Students residing in the 8 regions of Southern Italy who attend or are pre-enrolled/admitted to tertiary education courses in Italy or abroad.
Students not residing in the regions of the South who attend or are pre-enrolled/admitted to tertiary education courses in universities in the South (up to 25% of resources).
Financial resources: Loans up to a maximum of €50,000 at zero interest and without personal guarantees or third-party guarantors. In addition to tuition fees, the funding can also cover out-of-pocket expenses related to studying. The disbursement of resources takes place through two financial operators: Intesa San Paolo and Gruppo Bancario Cooperativo Iccrea.

Eligible paths: Post-three-year tertiary education courses: single-cycle degrees, master's degrees, first and second level university masters, specialization schools (without scholarships/salaries) recognized by the MUR.

The Fund aims to offer the necessary guarantees to allow deserving young people to obtain funding for university enrolment or post-graduate specialization courses or in-depth study of the foreign language.
In order to access the funding guaranteed by the Fund, young people who meet the requirements provided for by the legislation must fill in the application form, attach the required documentation and go to the branches of the lenders participating in the initiative.

Who can apply for funding
students enrolled in first or second level university Masters, up to date with the payment of university fees and in possession of a bachelor's or specialist degree, with a mark of at least 100/110.

Scholarships

The Gasbarri Foundation, established in 1984 by Alleanza Assicurazioni S.p.A, aims to promote the dissemination of knowledge in the insurance field and offer young people valid opportunities to enter this working reality. To this end, the Foundation intends to support research and culture through the provision of Awards, Scholarships and Internships to the most deserving young people.

For the academic year 2025-2026, the Gasbarri Foundation is supporting the following master's degrees with some scholarships:

Thanks to the financial support of institutions and companies that collaborate in the activities of the masters, the University awards partial and/or full scholarships to cover the tuition fees of the master.

  • The Calabria Region has published a notice for the financing of vouchers intended for participation in I and II level Masters for the academic years 2024-2027. The call is aimed at I and/or II level graduates who have been residing in Calabria for at least six months. The maximum contribution that can be paid for each beneficiary is 10,000 euros, covering the costs of enrolment in the Master.Deadlines for submitting applications:

Tuition fee deductions

Tuition fees, for enrolment in all first and second level university Master's at the Milan, Brescia and Piacenza campuses, are deductible at 19% for a maximum amount of €3,900 (regardless of the specialising Master's subject area).
The deduction is granted on condition that you are in possession of receipts for payment of fees made by MAV, bank transfer, by credit card or other payment systems.

If you are a VAT-registered worker who has attended a master's degree, you can benefit from a tax saving. As an alternative to the 19% deduction, you can deduct from your income the cost of attending the master, including any travel and accommodation expenses, up to a maximum of €10,000.

Interprofessional Funds

Companies registered with an Interprofessional Fund can take advantage of forms of financing by virtue of the Fund to which they are registered. For information or support fondi.interprofessionali@unicatt.it.
