      To take the test, you must register and pay the participation fee no later than 28 April 2026. Late registrations or payments made after this deadline will not be accepted.

      The admission tests, in English, will take place on 20 May 2026 in a multi-session home-based modality (at the candidate's own computer workstation and through a remote surveillance platform).

      The University reserves the right to activate additional sessions on 21 May 2026 if the number of candidates exceeds the total number of places available for remote connection at each session.

      The general list of convocations will be published on 13 May 2026. The time of the test will be communicated by e-mail at least 5 days before the day of the test.

      Those who, for any reason, connect after the end of the identification phase will not be admitted to the test.

      The test consists of 65 multiple-choice questions distributed as follows:

      • 2 questions of general knowledge
      • 20 questions of logical reasoning
      • 18 questions of biology
      • 12 questions of chemistry
      • 4 questions of physics
      • 4 questions of mathematics
      • 5 questions of ethical-religious culture

      At the end of the test, each candidate must answer 7 additional questions in 7 minutes, automatically assigned by the testing platform (one for each subject). These so-called 'reserve' questions will NOT count towards the ordinary assessment of the test unless, after all the scheduled sessions have been held, an anomaly emerges in one or more questions of each subject, leading to their cancellation. Only in this case, once the criticality has been ascertained, will the University evaluate its neutralization and replacement with the reserve question relating to the same subject, in order to guarantee objectivity of the assessments and equal treatment of candidates.

      A maximum time of 65 minutes (+ 7 minutes for the reserve questions) is allocated for the test. A maximum score of 65 points is awarded for the test according to the following criteria:

      • 1 point for each correct answer;
      • minus 0.25 points for each incorrect answer;
      • 0 points for each unanswered question.

      The minimum score required to be eligible for the degree programme must be no less than 20 points out of 65. Those who are placed in the corresponding ranking list in the order of the places available are declared successful.

      The test is administered via a special platform that allows remote monitoring, both live and asynchronous with review of the tests (audio-video recording of all stages of the procedure).

      The room chosen by the candidate to take the exam must be well lit, isolated, quiet, and have a single access door that must remain closed for the entire duration of the procedure.

      During the testing procedure, candidates are personally responsible for the correct configuration of their workstation according to the instructions that will be given at the beginning and/or during the test and for ensuring that the room is isolated.

      Subject to penalty of exclusion, candidates are required to observe the following rules of conduct during the test:

      • It is not allowed to leave the workstation after the identification phase for any reason;
      • It is not allowed to use or consult other applications, browsers or web pages. Therefore, before starting the test, all web pages and programs must be closed;
      • It is not allowed to keep additional devices (monitors, keyboards, mice), headphones or earphones, calculators, mobile phones (other than the one that will act as a camera to film the room) with you. Similarly, it is not allowed to have active features that could allow the use of additional devices (additional monitors, keyboards, mice);
      • It is not allowed to talk or interact with other people
      • It is not allowed to read the content of the test aloud
      • It is not allowed to use sheets of paper of any kind for any reason
      • It is not allowed to consult books, texts, web pages, notes or handouts
      • Earplugs are not permitted
      • No one other than the candidate is allowed in the room

      The specific prerequisites for the Medicine and Surgery programme include knowledge of the English language, demonstrated by possession of a certificate of a level not lower than B2 according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages.

      PLEASE NOTE:

      1. The list of accepted certifications is expressly indicated in the competition notice (Art. 10 Enrolment)
      2. This list is exhaustive as regards the type of certifications accepted and the minimum score required for each of them
      3. Certifications that are not among those listed in the competition notice are under no circumstances taken into consideration
      4. The language certificate must be submitted upon enrolment in the degree programme, but is not required for participation in the test

      Only candidates who have completed their entire secondary school career in English may be exempted from producing the language certification. In this case, upon enrolment, the candidate must produce appropriate certification of the language in which the secondary school education was provided.

      Once the test participation fee has been paid, candidates can access the TEST Simulator platform free of charge via their registration profile. The simulator can be used unlimitedly by each registered candidate: it contains an archive of approximately 3,000 questions administered by the University in previous years and made available for practice purposes only. The questions administered on the day of the test are not extracted from the simulator.
