The Catholic University of the Sacred Heart, on the initiative of the "A. Gemelli" Faculty of Medicine and Surgery, establishes the second level university Master's degree in strategic market development and management in dentistry for the academic year 2025/26.

The second level university Master's degree lasts one academic year for a total of 60 credits, equal to 1500 hours.

Those who have completed the required training course and passed the relevant assessment tests with a mark out of thirty will be awarded a Second Level University Master's degree in Development and strategic management of the dentistry market.

The master's degree will allow each participant to evolve towards a personalized, rigorous and competitive strategic plan, which finalizes the subjective path on official and objective bases, with practical objectives and always giving an operational meaning to the investment and management of human and market resources of professional leadership.

The Master is aimed at:

- Graduates of any Master's Degree class

The number of those admitted is set at minimum 18.

To be admitted, candidates must pass a test consisting of a motivational interview.

Foreign students

N.B. In the case of foreign students: the qualification with the grade obtained must be accompanied by an official translation into the legalized Italian language and equipped with a "declaration of value" issued by the competent Italian Embassy or Consulate abroad.

For students coming from non-European countries, the qualification will be subjected to the judgment of the master's board of directors, for the purposes of equivalence aimed exclusively at the university master's degree.

Possession of the qualification to practice the profession of dentistry in Italy or recognition of the title by the Ministry of Health is required only in the case of professional activities; for frontal activities it is not a necessary requirement.

The schedule will consist of a series of face-to-face lectures and attendance in the department to conduct practical training.

The courses will be held once a month on Fridays and Saturdays and will be spread over the interval from November 8, 2025 to October 31, 2026.

The Master's program involves an academic year commitment of 1500 hours in total, corresponding to 60 CFUs to be accrued through about 550 hours of “frontal” teaching activities and individual study and about 700 hours of online internship on a portal dedicated to the Master's program.

To these hours are added about 250 hours that will be devoted to the preparation of the final exam.

The face-to-face lectures will be expressed by touching on basic and specialized courses.

The Master's program will enable all participants to enhance their freelance business management skills by projecting them into a corporate vision of the dental business.

This will also enable them to offer themselves as consultants to leading dental companies.
