Revolução do ar

 (Revolution of the Air)

Shaped as a semicircle, the work presents a contrasting dialogue between parallel lines drawn by the artist as symbols alluding to the perceptible yet invisible dimension of air. The geometric rigour of the broken yellow straight line is interspersed, by contrast, with the more sinuous and organic line of a darker shade: like a morning breeze lashed by gusts of wind. Cass’s concrete geometry, even in this work, is not rigid; it always leaves room for the unpredictable and for the discovery of the unknown.
