A circular movement of marks and colours emerges from the work’s deep red background, suggesting a form that is still in the process of taking shape. The title brings together two apparently distant concepts — primordial chaos and love — evoking the idea of a form emerging from a state that is still unstable. Concrete, pigment, and tempera on linen also combine materials of very different natures: the physical solidity of concrete is contrasted with the lightness of the textile support and the chromatic qualities of paint. Geometry therefore appears not as a fixed structure, but as something caught in the very process of its own formation.
