Services

Psychological Counselling Service
Since 1999, EDUCatt has been running a psychological counselling service run by psychotherapists who offer support in understanding and dealing with students' personal, family and university problems. The service is offered to students at the Milan, Brescia, Piacenza and Rome campuses.

Clinical Psychology Service: person, couple, family
The Service offers specialist consultations, diagnostic assessments and treatment pathways in the face of critical phases and complex life transitions. In particular, it offers clinical consultations and psychotherapy interventions for young adults and adults, as well as Thematic Talk Groups on bereavement, trauma, mind-body-brain relationship, well-being and prevention.

Clinical Psychology and Psychotherapy Service - Health Promotion and Personal Care
The Service offers individual and group clinical and psychotherapeutic interventions, consultations, diagnostic evaluations and supervision. Particular attention is paid to health promotion and the prevention of mental distress (psycho-oncology, women's health, eating disorders, intestinal and respiratory diseases, mentalization).

Clinical and Forensic Psychology Service
Consultancy and intervention, training and research in the field of Clinical and Forensic Psychology are the main activities of the Service active at the Brescia headquarters to respond to the needs and interests of different local authorities operating in the psychological and social field.

Developmental Learning and Education Psychology Service (SPAEE)
The service offers support for the harmonization of cognitive components closely related to memory and attention processes, and of the components most associated with dysfunctional thoughts and/or experiences that can subtract energy from the person.

Service for the assessment, empowerment and diagnosis of psychological requirements for the purpose of recognising fitness to drive
The Service carries out activities of assessment, diagnosis and enhancement of psychological requirements both in the context of the assessment of fitness to drive and for the purpose of recognising suitability to carry weapons in accordance with the laws in force.

Inclusion Services
Students with special educational needs (disabilities, specific learning disorders, special needs) can contact the Inclusion Services at any location to be accompanied in their university experience with personalized learning paths.

CEAT
CEAT carries out Therapeutic Assessment (TA) activities with individuals, couples and families. TA is a brief psychological intervention methodology that employs interviews, observations, and psychological tests. Tests, the usual tools of assessment, are used in a rigorous, but also flexible and creative way, as amplifiers of the empathic understanding of clients and their dilemmas of change. Through collaborative ways, clients are involved in defining and understanding their challenges, while at the same time experimenting with new ways of coping. In addition, CEAT carries out research and training, consultancy and supervision activities for public and private bodies.
