In order to benefit from the subsidy, applicants must document the causes of the sudden deterioration in the family's economic condition and, with the exception of those enrolled in the first year of the programme, certify that they have acquired and recorded, by October of the relevant academic year, an adequate number of training credits (minimum ECTS) referring to the entire academic career.

Students who in the a.y.

• have already obtained preferential treatment from the First and Second Instance Contribution Commissions;
• have received one or more scholarships;
• are already exempt, for various reasons, even partially, from university fees.
• are enrolled as intermediate repeaters

The disbursement and the amount of the facility will be determined at the discretion of the Commission, after assessing the applicant's economic situation, the information and documentation provided, and the comparison between the various requests and the availability of the Fund. The Commission also reserves the right to carry out a motivational interview with the candidate.
