The Social Worker is a central figure in the fight against situations of social hardship. Work as an employee in public bodies (local authorities, hospitals, social and health companies) or in non-profit organizations (social cooperatives, foundations, associations) or as a freelancer, in order to help individuals, families or groups for problems related to poverty, marginalization, neglect or mistreatment of minors, conflictual separations or divorces, disability, non-self-sufficiency related to old age, criminal measures, mental health disorders, drug addiction, alcoholism, or other pathological addictions.
