How to enrol in the programme
You can find here the information on admission, which varies according to your qualification (Italian or foreign).

- For the final phase of enrolment*: Baptismal certificate or, if you do not have it, replacement documentation which you will have information about later. *read: Complete enrolment
If you have not yet registered on the portal, register or, if you already have your credentials, log in.
Choose the date of the test, upload the required documentation and pay the registration fee (€ 60).
A few days before the test, you will receive instructions and credentials to access the platform by e-mail.
The test is in Italian and lasts a maximum of 150 minutes and consists of 80 questions divided into thematic areas:
- 40 questions of Language competence and logical reasoning
- 20 questions on Literary, Historical, Social and Geographical Culture
- 20 questions of Mathematical-scientific culture
If you are eligible, you can reserve your place by paying the first instalment of university fees (€1,470) via the Enrolment Portal.
The reservation takes place in chronological order until places are exhausted and can take place until 15 December 2025.
In the event of an internal transfer, transfer, second degree or resumption of career, you must also pay the secretarial fees and upload the signed application form.
The place is reserved only after the validation of the documentation.
After graduating, complete your enrolment within the deadlines.
At this stage, you will be asked for your baptismal certificate. If you do not have one, you can submit replacement documentation by choosing from these options:
If you have been baptized but cannot find the original certificate, you can fill out a self-certification.
If you have not been baptized, you can make an appointment for an interview with the pastoral assistant on campus. After the interview, you will receive a valid certificate as replacement documentation. In case you have already made an appointment but are still waiting for the interview, you can temporarily submit a self-certification attesting to this situation.
Verification of Initial Preparation (VPI)
The Verification of Initial Preparation (VPI) is a compulsory test for all students enrolled in the first year of an undergraduate and integrated degree programme.
For the Primary Education course it is included in the admission test.
The VPI is used to ascertain your level of initial preparation and to offer you useful suggestions to face university studies with greater awareness.
Passing the VPI is achieved with a score of at least 20/40 in the area of Language competence and logical reasoning of the admission test.
In the event of correct answers of less than 20/40, an Additional Training Obligation (OFA) is assigned to fill the gaps found.
Any OFA assignment is communicated with the publication of the results of the admission test and also after enrolment on the personal iCatt page.
Compile income
Finally, don't forget to enter your income data by the end of November, using the "Compile income" application, accessible from your personal iCatt page.

Candidates transferring from another university, changing programme within Università Cattolica, taking a second degree or resuming their university career and are exempt from the admission test, after passing one of the 2 examinations indicated in the admission guides, are automatically recognised as having passed the initial preparation test and, as a result, no OFAs are assigned.
