Students enrolling from the academic year 2025/26 will be able to follow a course of study enriched by laboratory experiences that enhance the educational offer of the three-year degree in a plastic, eclectic and profiled way by study curriculum.

The contents of the workshops are extremely innovative and therefore represent an opportunity to increase one's specialist skills in the managerial, communication and  new technologies fields, while also constituting a fundamental wealth of transversal knowledge, functional to a highly professional training.

Below are the details of the laboratories included in the curriculum study plan:

A.I. AND DATA ANALYSIS (first year Business Language Expert)

The workshop aims to introduce the student to the topics of Artificial Intelligence and its practical applications in the business world, engaged in the global competition of a multicultural and multilingual world. This is a key challenge, for example, in the application of machine learning algorithms to support predictive maintenance. It is also reasonable to expect that, in the coming years, in more structured companies, we will see an increasing use of generative AI, capable of eliminating repetitive tasks, especially with regard to technical customer support or sales. In recent years, in a similar way, large companies have invested in the creation of "digital twins" to design increasingly complex products. The use of granular data and the cloud, combined with greater computing power, also makes it possible to virtually study the behavior and performance of some processes even in extreme scenarios.  Addressing the challenges of AI will require not only managers, but the entire corporate population to be able to make "informed" decisions by being guided by both data and experience.

DATA ANALYSIS FOR GEOPOLITICS (first year Language Expert for International Relations)

In an increasingly interconnected and interdependent world, geopolitical disciplines represent an increasingly crucial cross-cutting asset for a wide range of professional profiles. Beyond the purely institutional sphere, where geopolitics finds its natural home, more and more companies and businesses are looking carefully at geopolitical expertise, as well exemplified by the proliferation of Chief geopolitical officer positions within large and medium-sized groups.
Starting from the foundations gained in the Geopolitics course, the workshop aims to consolidate skills in the field and develop individual skills through the analysis of case studies to be defined with the teaching staff.

Supply chain management (2nd year Business Language Expert)

The supply chain manager is an increasingly central figure in the evolution strategies of the contemporary company. Specifically, he/she must deal with the management of the entire distribution chain, with particular reference to logistics and the relationship with suppliers. It is mainly based on the forecasting, planning and coordination of the flow of goods, and on the expectations of the end customer. In this sense, supply chain management can be defined as a systematic coordination of traditional business functions and tactics, within each organization and along the supply chain, which aims to improve the long-term performance of the different players operating along the supply chain.
This workshop aims to introduce the student to the recognition of the role, the functions performed and the skills required of the supply chain manager, bringing experiences and discussing concrete cases of problems faced in this field.

Brand management (III year Business Language Expert)

Brand management is the activity of coordinating the various elements of the brand. It is a mix of values, tangible and intangible, that belong to the world of the brand. Distinctive traits that make the brand unique and that, if well managed, increase the value perceived by the consumer with respect to a product and enhance brand awareness.
The workshop will illustrate how the concept and strategies of branding have evolved over time, involving people to a greater extent, who today increasingly implement communication strategies and activate socio-cultural dynamics of self-branding in digital platforms. The global phenomenon of influencers (or content creators) will also be addressed, from a socio-cultural and consumer culture perspective, analyzing the phenomena of celebrification, self-commodification and construction of parasocial relationships.

Journalism (III year Languages, Communication and Media)

The workshop aims to provide students with the technical and practical elements necessary to carry out a project work, drawing in particular on the typical tools of journalistic investigation and integrating the different media and their specific languages. Starting from the knowledge acquired during the lessons, students will be able to put their skills into practice in group work aimed at a conclusive journalistic work. At the end of the workshop, the student will have acquired basic knowledge of journalism in different media, with particular reference to its methods of organization and functioning and its connections with the local community.

Soft skill empowerment (III year Language Expert for International Relations)

The didactic aims of the laboratory concern the development of transversal skills and the ability to apply them in work, study and personal contexts.
The course aims to: promote the acquisition of transversal skills in relation to the contexts of application; promote the recognition of Soft Skills already possessed by students; offer reflective tools that allow students to continue learning from experiences and contexts.
