Learning objectives

The training course, divided over two years, is organized into areas that refer to different types of studies and that include:

  • the in-depth study of the historical-artistic disciplines related to the knowledge of the historical-artistic heritage from Late Antiquity to the Contemporary;
  • internships within the laboratories set up by the School and/or internships at museums and cultural institutions that promote professional training in the cultural heritage sector.

 

The following knowledge is also considered essential for a proper professional preparation:

  • relating to the protection, enhancement and education of the museum, urban and territorial evidence;
  • relating to technical and experimental methodologies concerning the restoration and conservation of cultural heritage;
  • necessary to acquire skills for an economic approach in the field of menagerial management of museum facilities, cultural events and investments in them;
  • aimed at providing basic knowledge of the legal systems concerning cultural heritage and its legal protection.
