The format

In order to facilitate the performance of professional teaching activities by off-site students, the Faculty, enhancing the wide and consolidated network of relationships with public and private local services, promotes and facilitates the carrying out of internships in the local communities to which the students belong .

Blended teaching

The new course of study is designed in blended mode , also to encourage the enrolment of working students already engaged in welfare services or close to starting in the world of work.

Specifically, the blended formula translates into:

  • between 40% and 50% of remote activities;
  • between 50% and 60% of face-to-face teaching activities.

Each course included in the study plan is delivered according to the aforementioned subdivision, with the exception of internship and laboratory activities, which will be carried out entirely in presence.

For the entire duration of the course, a high student-teacher interaction will be maintained in asynchronous and synchronous mode, also through the use of dedicated methodologies and tools.

Teaching methods, workshops and internships

The training course has a strongly interdisciplinary character. To integrate theoretical knowledge and methodological-professional skills, the course is characterized by an articulated proposal of workshops, guided exercises, seminars and opportunities for discussion with social workers, managers, users and family members who are experts in experience.

The internship plays a significant role in the degree path. The internship consists of an experience in which the student offers a service, an organization or a community his or her collaboration in order to think, organize and implement a participatory intervention project that may have as its focus the realization of social work or social research activities.

The internship is carried out with the support of course teachers specifically in charge of tutorship functions, who accompany students both individually and through group meetings.

ECTS

At least 120 university credits must be acquired to obtain the graduate degree .
Each exam is awarded a certain number of credits, the same for all students, and a grade (expressed in thirtieths) that varies according to the level of preparation.
The mark awarded to the final examination is expressed in one hundred and ten.
