Graduates in Clinical and Health Psychology: from the Hospital to the Community can work in a variety of public and private settings where specialised expertise in mental health and psychological well-being is required.

They may find employment in:

  • public health authorities (ASL, AO, IRCCS);
  • accredited private hospitals;
  •  local services for mental health, child neuropsychiatry, addictions and rehabilitation;
  • centres for cognitive disorders and dementias (CDCD), nursing homes (RSAs) and hospices;
  • family counselling and perinatal services, as well as school and university psychological helpdesks;
  • Third Sector organisations, social cooperatives and NGOs involved in promoting psychosocial well-being.

The graduate degree qualifies for the profession of Psychologist and allows registration with the relevant professional Order. Graduates may pursue freelance practice or continue their studies in Schools of Specialisation in Psychotherapy, advanced training courses, second-level graduate programmes or PhD programmes.
