Terms

The MSc in Management begins in September each year, lasts for 24 months, and is spread over 6 terms, each of which is of 12 weeks' duration. The programme combines innovative coursework, fieldwork activities, international experiences, and a broad range of extra-curricular activities.

 

Term 1 (September-December)

  • Start your learning experience by joining us for a Welcome Day, knowing the MScM programme and the university services, meeting the faculty, making friends, and getting information on student life and campus facilities.
  • Take in a single cohort your basic courses (Mathematics for management, Transnational business law – Module 1) which lay the foundation of the remaining part of the programme.
  • Choose from 2 advanced courses which provide you with the essential general management tools and knowledge (Corporate finance, Management control systems).

Term 2 (January-March)

  • Take in a single cohort your basic courses (Transnational business law – Module 2, Managerial economics) which lay the foundation of the remaining part of the programme.
  • Choose from 2 advanced courses which provide you with the essential general management tools and knowledge (Corporate strategy, Supply chain management).
  • Add an international experience to your journey by participating in our exchange programs abroad or doing a dual programme with world reknowned universities, thus gaining a global perspective and immersing in another culture.
  • Enrich your experience (and challenge yourself) outside the classroom, undertaking a number of extra-curricular activities (IT and language courses)

Term 3 (April-June)

  • Choose from 3 advanced courses which provide you with the essential general management tools and knowledge (Customer-based marketing strategy, Financial accounting and analysis, HR management).
  • Add an international experience to your journey by participating in our exchange programs abroad or doing a dual programme with world reknowned universities, thus gaining a global perspective and immersing in another culture.
  • Enrich your experience (and challenge yourself) outside the classroom, undertaking a number of extra-curricular activities (IT and language courses, Social impact program, Full Immersion Trip; Volunteering activity).

Term 1 (September-December)

  • Choose from a shortlist of 5 elective courses (International business management, Management information systems, Political economy of the European Union, Project management, Work and organisational psychology), developing proficiency in the areas of your interest.
  • Add an international experience to your journey by participating in our exchange programs abroad or doing a dual programme with world reknowned universities, thus gaining a global perspective and immersing in another culture.
  • Enrich your experience (and challenge yourself) outside the classroom, undertaking a number of extra-curricular activities (Buddy program, Communication program).

Term 2 (January-March)

  • Choose from a shortlist of 7 elective courses (Business sustainability, Cross cultural management, Entrepreneurship, Industrial organisation, Labour economics, Performance measurement, Public management), developing proficiency in the areas of your interest.
  • Enrich your experience (and challenge yourself) outside the classroom, undertaking a number of extra-curricular activities (Buddy program, Communication program).
  • Embark in the business lab experience, taking the lab introductory course, visiting the partnering companies, and working with your teammates for delivering commissioned group assignments).

Term 3 (April-June)

  • Choose from a shortlist of 6 elective courses (Business analytics, Brand management, Business communication, Change management, International corporate finance, International economics (Advanced international trade and economics), developing proficiency in the areas of your interest.
  • Enrich your experience (and challenge yourself) outside the classroom, undertaking a number of extra-curricular activities (Buddy program, Communication program, Full Immersion Trip; Volunteering activity).
  • Finalise your business lab experience, gaining a valuable work experience in the partnering companies through an internship or a commissioned business project.
  • Write your Master's dissertation under the supervision of faculty member and in collaboration with a company, applying the skills and knowledge you have gained throughout the course of the MScM.
