Profiles

In order to accompany each student in building a course of study that is both personalized and coherent, which develops the possible interests of each one (for example in the linguistic, philological-literary, historical, archaeological-antiquarian, historical-religious, oriental studies, etc.) the student is left with the opportunity to acquire an appropriate number of credits by opting for educational activities identified by the student himself, under the guidance of the Teaching Commission, during the interview scheduled at the beginning of the first year of the programme.

In line with the Didactic Regulations, these credits must be chosen within the groups of disciplines listed below

Tutoring

The assessment will take place through traditional written and oral exams. In addition, a constant relationship of tutoring by the teachers of the specialization disciplines will ensure direct control over the acquisition of specific skills and methods, with particular attention during the preparation of the final exam

To obtain the graduate degree, students must have acquired at least 120 university credits, including those related to the final examination. After passing the final degree exam, the student obtains the master's degree in Sciences of Antiquity. Admission qualifications are those provided for by current legal provisions. The normal duration of the graduate degree programme is an additional two years after the three-year course of study. The time reserved for personal study, as a rule, is equal to at least 75% of the total hourly commitment with the possibility of lower percentages for individual training activities with a high experimental or practical content.
