Overview

The Graduate Degree Programme in Science and Techniques of Wellness and Sport is primarily structured around courses in the medical, adapted physical activity, and sports fields. It aims to provide an organic framework of theoretical and practical knowledge and skills related to maintaining health through movement and engaging in sport throughout the lifespan. Students will develop specific expertise in the core dimensions of sport and exercise sciences, drawing on insights from biomedical, educational, psychological, and sociological disciplines. Particular attention is given to gender-specific aspects and the needs of individuals with disabilities.

The teaching includes theoretical and technical-practical lessons combined with individual exercises that utilise advanced tools for analysing physical fitness and training for sports and personal well-being. Internships and placements take place at affiliated sports facilities, specialising in preventive, post-rehabilitation, adaptive, and performance fields.

Starting from a common base of exams, the LM-67/LM-68 graduate degree programme includes two training paths that meet the requirements of both classes (Sciences and techniques of preventive and adapted motor activities/Sports sciences and techniques). Students must indicate the class in which they intend to earn their qualification at the time of enrolment. However, they may change their choice, provided it is finalised upon registration for the second year.
