The admission tests envisaged in the admission notice are organised by the University taking into account the specific needs of candidates with a "civil disability report" and a "disability assessment report" pursuant to laws no. 102/2009 and no. 104/1992 and/or certification of Specific Learning Disorders (SLD) pursuant to Law no. 170/2010, drawn up according to the CNUDD 2024 GUIDELINES, paragraph 8.2 "Diagnosis and certification".  Candidates who require additional aids or time must request them through the online registration procedure via the Enrolment Portal ( Candidates with disabilities and/or SLD sections), attaching due certification.

Candidates with disabilities and/or SLD are entitled to compensatory tools and/or dispensatory measures for which they must explicitly request them when registering for the competition:

  • Additional time (up to 30% for candidates with SLD certification and up to 50% for candidates with disabilities);
  • The non-scientific calculator (only for candidates with SLD if there is a specific indication in the diagnostic certification);
  • The "accessible desk" (if the test is scheduled in person, only for candidates with motor disabilities);
  • The assignment of the "reader" (person designated by the Evaluation Commission only for candidates with visual impairment and for candidates with SLD only in the case of particular severity of the specific reading disorder);
  • The assignment of the "transcriber" (person designated by the Evaluation Commission, only for candidates with disabilities);
  • Enlarge the text of the test (if the test is scheduled to be held in person) or use the zoom function on the browser (if the test is scheduled remotely);
  • Audio tracks for comprehension passages (if the test is scheduled remotely and if the test allows it).

Further requests can be expressed in the free field that can be edited in the appropriate function of the competition registration procedure.

In any case, the following tools are not allowed: dictionary and/or vocabulary, form, periodic table of elements, concept map, personal computer (except for online tests), tablets, smartphones and other similar tools.

The attribution of compensatory measures will not be guaranteed in the event of expired documentation, documentation that does not comply with current regulations, does not submit according to the indications provided or after the deadlines established in the section "Timing for registration for the admission test" of the admission notice.

Candidates with invalidity, disability or SLD from EU and non-EU countries residing abroad, who intend to take advantage of the above measures, must present the certification attesting to the state of disability, disability or SLD issued in the country of residence, accompanied by a translation, sworn or certified by the Italian diplomatic missions in accordance with the original text, in Italian or English. The Commission in charge of examining the above certifications will assess whether the documentation issued abroad attests to a condition of disability, disability or SLD.
