Project work

 

"I want a Pink Bag" is Banca Sella's initiative created to promote the future generation of female leaders in the financial sector, providing concrete tools to face their financial and professional growth with awareness. "I want a Pink Bag" aims to be a concrete response to the challenge of the barriers and opportunities that characterize the relationship between women and finance to accompany them on a path of development and financial autonomy. The initiatives of this path are numerous and constantly evolving: through the Project Work in the Communication organizational unit of Banca Sella, by making your know-how available, you can contribute to the creation of practical guides, video content, podcasts, events, workshops, training meetings and much more, also acquiring skills in the fields of communication, D&I and project management.

Proposal aimed at female students of undergraduate and graduate degree programmes.

The activity will be recognized as a curricular internship. Participation fee: €800 per month (fulltime)

Duration and location: 4 months – Milan in hybrid formula (presence and SW) with availability to travel to the Turin and Biella offices.

Period: from mid-January to mid-May 2026.

The project includes a three-month coaching period with the M&A team of the Group's Corporate & Investment Banking Business Line. Guided by the Managing Director and coordinated by the professional figures of the team, the resource will have the opportunity to learn and see the fundamental skills regarding financial modeling, business planning and corporate valuation applied on a day-to-day basis. She will also be involved in meetings and calls aimed at the most effective management of on-going deals, also contributing to the development of business pitches to support the team's commercial presentations.

The ultimate aim of the project is to convey the value of the relationship and relationships in a highly quantitative sector such as that of the IB. Specifically, those who work in the M&A world, in fact, must have a strong customer orientation and the ability to build partnerships based on mutual esteem and trust. If not supported by these valuable soft skills, business modeling work, even if correct, can never be effective and bring results.

Job Shadowing

The student will have the opportunity to work alongside professionals from the Credit Risk organisational unit of the Risk Management Area of Banca Sella Holding and will be involved in second-level control activities relating to:

  • Portfolio Credit Risks (RAF indicator monitoring, deep dive portfolio analysis, etc.)
  • Individual customer credit risks (monitoring and analysis of individual customer ratings)

The involvement and participation in meetings and meetings of the Credit Risk community is planned for brainstorming activities, risk assessments and trend analysis with the reference business units (Credit).

Proposal aimed at female graduate degree students. Participants will be awarded 1 supernumerary ECTS.

Duration: the activities will take place over three days starting in January 2026, at the Turin campus (in presence).

The student will have the opportunity to work alongside professionals from the Market Risk organisational unit of the Risk Management Area of Banca Sella Holding and will be involved in second-level control activities relating to:

  • Market Risks (VaR monitoring and trading room limits)
  • Interest Rate and Liquidity Risk (monitoring of the group's net interest income and liquidity position from both a management and regulatory point of view)
  • Wealth Management (risk assessment of financial instruments placed with the Group's clients)

Participation and participation in meetings and meetings of the Credit Risk community is planned for brainstorming activities, risk assessments and trend analysis with the reference business units (Treasury).

Career Advisors and mentoring paths

The "Risk Counseling" project was created with the aim of providing technical guidance to girls interested in the Risk Management sector, through counseling by professionals with long experience in the sector. During the meetings, personalized feedback and suggestions will be provided, discussing opportunities in Risk Management and the skills needed to excel.

Participants will have the opportunity to receive practical advice on how to develop their skills and knowledge to tackle industry challenges.

The initiative aims to increase gender diversity in risk management.

Five female students will be selected to participate in the programme and will be paired with one of the heads of the Credit Risk Management, Market Risk Management, Non-Financial Risk Management, Risk Governance and Model Validation functions of Banca Sella Holding. Each manager will follow only one participant, thus ensuring personalized attention and targeted support.

The meetings will be organized in 1:1 mode, remotely or with the possibility of holding them in person in the Turin, Biella and Milan offices, depending on the location of the team. The program includes up to 3 one-hour meetings based on the needs of the students.

Duration: 2/3 meetings on dates to be agreed starting from December 2025
