The curriculum offers a nationally distinctive programme in criminology, shaped by an innovative and multidisciplinary approach to the study of crime and social behaviour. In the first year, students develop a solid grounding in the core social sciences, together with the academic and methodological skills required to understand contemporary criminological issues.
The second year deepens this preparation through courses in social psychology, organisational sociology and the sociology of culture, while introducing students to key criminological theories and the research methods that support evidence‑based analysis.
In the third year, the programme focuses on advanced methodological training and provides an introduction to programming in R and Python, enabling students to acquire the analytical and quantitative competencies that increasingly characterise modern criminological research.
