The admission test takes place online and is in English.

The test is psychometric and assesses logical reasoning, critical thinking and text comprehension. It is divided into three parts.

The first part consists of 50 questions covering analogies, classifications, general knowledge and series completion and lasts 25 minutes.

The second part consists of 10 questions that contain a variety of information and data against which the correctness of the answer options must be evaluated, and lasts 10 minutes.

The third part consists of 4 pieces of text with 3 comprehension questions each and lasts 15 minutes.

Each correct answer is assigned a score of 1; each not given or incorrect answer is assigned a score of 0.

We recommend that you consult the instructions and practice with tests from previous years.

For each period, a ranking list of admitted candidates and any waiting list are drawn up.

If you have been admitted, reserve your place by paying the first instalment (€1,470) through the Registration Portal. You can do this even before you graduate from high school. Places are allocated in chronological order to admitted candidates according to the modality active at that moment.

After graduating, complete your enrolment by the deadlines:

  • - If you have reserved your place by August 12, 2025: by September 12, 2025
  • If you have reserved after August 12: within 30 days from the date of reservation

At this stage you will be asked for your baptismal certificate.  If you do not have one, you can submit replacement documentation by choosing from these possibilities:

If you've been baptized but can't find your original certificate, you can fill out a self-certification.

If you have not been baptized, you can make an appointment for an interview with the pastoral assistant on campus. After the interview, you will receive a valid certificate as replacement documentation. In case you have already made an appointment but are still waiting for the interview, you can temporarily submit a self-certification attesting to this situation.

Verification of Initial Preparation (VPI)

After completing your enrolment, you will find on your personal iCatt page the convocation with the date to carry out the Verification of Initial Preparation (VPI), a compulsory test.

The VPI does not limit access to or attendance at the degree programme, but it serves to understand your level of initial preparation and help you better cope with university studies.

The test takes place online and you will receive all the technical instructions to participate.

If you need to change the assigned date, you can request it directly from your iCatt page

Income Statement

Finally, don't forget to enter your income data by the end of November 2025, using the "Income Statement" application, accessible from your personal iCatt page.

OTHER INFORMATION

The admission tests provided for in the admission notice are organised by the University taking into account the specific needs of candidates with a "civil disability report" and a "disability assessment report" pursuant to laws no. 102/2009 and no. 104/1992 and/or certification of Specific Learning Disorders (SLD) pursuant to Law no. 170/2010, drawn up according to the CNUDD 2024 GUIDELINES, paragraph 8.2 "Diagnosis and certification".  Candidates who need additional aids or time must request them through the online registration procedure through the Enrolment Portal (sections Candidates with disabilities and/or SLD), attaching due certification.

Candidates with disabilities and/or SLD are entitled to compensatory tools and/or dispensatory measures for which they must explicitly request them when registering for the competition:

  • Additional time (up to 30% for candidates with SLD certification and up to 50% for candidates with disabilities);
  • The non-scientific calculator (only for candidates with SLD if there is a specific indication in the diagnostic certification);
  • The "accessible desk" (if the test is scheduled in person, only for candidates with motor disabilities);
  • The assignment of the "reader" (person designated by the Evaluation Commission only for candidates with visual impairment and for candidates with SLD only in the case of particular severity of the specific reading disorder);
  • The assignment of the "transcriber" (person designated by the Evaluation Commission, only for candidates with disabilities);
  • Enlargement of the text of the test (if the test is scheduled to be held in person) or use of the zoom function on the browser (if the test is scheduled remotely);
  • Audio tracks for comprehension passages (if the test is scheduled remotely and if the test allows it).

Additional requests may be submitted in the free-text field provided in the appropriate section of the application procedure for the admission test.

The following items are in any case not permitted: dictionaries and/or glossaries, formularies, periodic tables of the elements, concept maps, personal computers (except for online tests), tablets, smartphones, and similar devices.

The assignment of compensatory measures will not be guaranteed in cases of expired documentation, documentation that does not comply with current regulations, documentation that has not been submitted according to the provided instructions, or documentation submitted after the deadlines specified in the section "Admission Test Registration Timeline" of the admission notice.

Candidates with disabilities, impairments, or specific learning disorders (SLD) from EU and non-EU countries residing abroad who wish to request the aforementioned measures must submit certification attesting to their condition of disability, impairment, or SLD, issued in their country of residence. This certification must be accompanied by a sworn or certified translation - certified by the Italian diplomatic or consular authorities - into Italian or English, faithfully corresponding to the original document. The committee responsible for examining these certifications will evaluate whether the foreign-issued documentation attests to a condition of disability, impairment, or SLD.

More information

To register for the admission test to the programme, you must declare in the Enrolment Portal the average obtained in the penultimate year of secondary school.
If you are about to obtain or have obtained an Italian diploma and have attended the entire penultimate year of secondary school abroad, in order to register for the admission test you must declare in the Enrolment Portal the average converted according to the Italian grade system and upload the report card issued to you by the Italian school.
If you are unable to retrieve the converted report card, but you have the average in tenths relating to the year spent abroad, you can upload an official document issued by the school certifying this information.
If, on the other hand, you only have a document indicating the school credits assigned, you must upload it and take into account that the average obtained is defined according to the following table:

If you do not have one of the documents indicated above, declare the average obtained in the third to last year and upload, in a single file, the relative report card and the transcript of the penultimate year carried out abroad.

PLEASE NOTE:

If you have only spent the 1st semester abroad , declare the average obtained in the second semester, expressed in tenths and upload the report card of the penultimate year showing the average obtained in the final examination in tenths.

If you have only completed the 2nd semester abroad , declare the converted average according to the Italian grade system and upload the report card with the marks of the final scrutiny issued by the Italian school.

If you are unable to find the report card with the converted final exam grades or a document showing the average or credits obtained at the end of the penultimate year, declare the average obtained at the end of the 1st semester spent in Italy and upload, in a single file, the transcript of the semester spent abroad and the report card of the first semester attended in Italy.

ATTENTION: under no circumstances will translations of foreign transcripts or self-certifications of conversion of grades be accepted.

If you are a graduate candidate or enrolled in schools with a foreign qualification , follow the procedures provided by the International Admissions Office
