Course Structure

The course is divided into two curricula, divided into different profiles:

  1. LANGUAGES, LITERATURES AND COMMUNICATION (LANGUAGES, LITERATURES AND COMMUNICATION)
    LANGUAGES, COMMUNICATION, MEDIA AND DIGITAL CULTURES
    FOREIGN LANGUAGES AND LITERATURES
  2. APPLIED FOREIGN LANGUAGES (APPLIED FOREIGN LANGUAGES)
    Languages for Business and Global Business (IGB)
    Tourism management and Made in Italy (TMMI)
    LANGUAGES FOR COMMUNICATION, BRAND AND MEDIA MANAGEMENT

Each curriculum contains:

  • two three-year language cycles;
  • a cycle of two/three exams in linguistic sciences;
  • an organic cycle of six to nine specific exams for each curriculum, responding to the requests for linguistic/professional services widespread in society  and intended to constitute a specific professionalism.

The Faculty offers the opportunity to participate in professional internships, organized in agreement with public and private bodies.

Credits

To obtain the three-year degree, 180 university credits (CFU) are required, which are acquired to the extent of about 60 each year with evaluation tests both for the courses and for other supplementary teaching forms. Each exam is awarded a certain number of credits, the same for all students, and a grade (expressed in thirtieths) that varies according to the level of preparation. The final exam is evaluated in one hundred and tenths.

The languages offered in the degree programme are:

  • Arabic (80 places are reserved for this language)
  • Chinese (only for the profiles Languages for communication, brand and media management, Languages for business) (80 places are reserved for this language)

  • Spanish
  • German
