The three-year course in Dental Hygiene provides adequate preparation in the basic disciplines, which allow the understanding of the most considerable elements concerning the pathological processes that develop in developmental, adult and geriatric age, on which the diagnostic intervention is focused. Of particular importance, as an integral and qualifying part of professional training, is the practical training and clinical internship activity, carried out under the supervision and guidance of specially assigned professional tutors, coordinated by a teacher belonging to the highest level of training required for the professional profile.
Credits
180 university credits (CFU) are required to obtain the degree; As a rule, 60 credits are acquired each year with evaluation tests both for the courses and for the other supplementary teaching forms. Each course is assigned the same number of credits for all students; The grade (expressed in thirtieths) varies according to the student's level of preparation. The final mark, which includes the evaluation of the final examination, is expressed in one hundred and ten.
