Skills

Specific operational skills concern the application of physical-motor, reflective, expressive techniques based on artistic languages for the prevention, promotion and recovery of subjective well-being. In particular, the first year of the course provides for the acquisition of theoretical and methodological knowledge, relating to the following main topics: factors determining subjective and intersubjective well-being; intervention and evaluation of cognitive psychology and the psychology of emotions; positive psychology; life cycle psychology; psychology of education, guidance and training; neuropsychological foundations of well-being; risk management and emergency and crisis situations;. There are also paths for the development of comprehension skills and the critical analysis of psychological theories, models and concepts; observation and analysis of behavior, detection of psychophysiological and neuropsychological indices, application of psychometric tools (tests), construction of scales and questionnaires; evaluation and assessment.

The second year of the course provides for the acquisition of theoretical and methodological skills, relating to the following main topics: stress management; prevention of discomfort, malaise, burn-out; resilience; rehabilitation and functional recovery of cognitive and socio-relational skills; application of well-being in social and group contexts. Paths are also provided for the development of comprehension and analysis skills related to the development of personal potential, the refinement of reflection and re-elaboration skills, design, monitoring and evaluation of protocols for research, assessment and intervention in multiple contexts, such as personal, environmental, cultural and based on the technological system.

Teaching

The graduate degree programme pursues the previously stated objectives through training proposals - structured in the form of courses, specialized modules, laboratories, practical exercises and simulations - which cover the following areas:

  • psychological factors determining subjective well-being;
  • quality of life, sustainable lifestyles and behaviours;
  • empowerment, development of life skills and life-course learning;
  • support for adults; active ageing;
  • active citizenship skills (in relation to aspects such as nutrition, health, financial management, risk and security);
  • orientation and life project (life design), career accompaniment (career counselling), professional repositioning;
  • design of environments, artifacts and positive technology;
  • stress management; prevention of discomfort, malaise, burn-out;
  • resilience; management of emergency and crisis situations;
  • rehabilitation and functional recovery of cognitive, emotional and socio-relational skills.

On a methodological level, the training action is based on tools for the observation and analysis of behavior, detection of psychophysiological and neuroscientific indices, application of tests, construction of scales and questionnaires, conduct of interviews and interviews, management of assessment and psychological diagnosis procedures, application of statistical procedures for data processing.

Training activities aimed at acquiring specific operational skills concern the application of physical-motor, psychophysiological, neurostimulation, expressive and reflective techniques based on different languages, including artistic ones, for the prevention, promotion and recovery of subjective well-being, empowerment and rehabilitation.
